Kim is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a passion for guiding people on how to more easily make better-for-you choices. She brings an incredible range of experience and insight to her work as a registered dietitian, nutrition coach and educator, both in private practice and with CPG brands.
Spurred by her love of running and a devotion to clean, healthy eating, Kim has built her career around her personal passions, namely helping people eat better to feel better. Since becoming an RD, Kim has and continues to work in both private consulting and larger corporate channels. Her latest gig has been helping launch a loyalty rewards platform - Merryfield - which guides people in making ‘better-for-you’ choices. As well as writing her first book, “The 14-Day Detox for Weight Loss: A Meal Plan and Easy Recipes to Lose Weight, Fast”
Before joining Merryfield, Kim worked as part of the education team at Vega, a plant-based nutrition and supplement company, creating digital content, working on Research and Design and developing educational materials.
She’s spent the last 10 years building her own private nutrition practice and serving as a private consultant to larger company’s as well as continuing freelance writing for websites including Runners World and US News & World Report.
Since having her first child in October 2015, Kim watched her passion for nutrition evolve into yet another domain, falling in love with maternal and child nutrition. Writing from personal experience and with professional expertise, she's been on a mission to help families navigate the muddy waters of nutrition for kids.
Kim has run a multitude of long-distance races, baked more cookies than any one person should, spends every possible free second with her husband and babe, and always has time to listen to her family and friends' latest stories. Her laughter is contagious and she'll always be up for a group run!
She received her Master's in Public Health from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree from Colby College.
